Your body tends to make more cortisol hormone when you are stressed which can reduce the production of other hormones including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. This causes negative symptoms, such as insomnia, migraines, and severe mood swings.

Estrogen is considered as primary sex hormone or reproductive hormone as it impacts fertility, mensuration, pregnancy. These are produced by ovaries and fat cells. These are produced by females in large amounts however mens also needs this hormone. There are three major types of estrogen: estrone, estradiol, and estriol. Estrone and estradiol are the main type of estrogen in postmenopausal women, while estriol is the main type involved in pregnancy.
